1LifeTrip – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, tours, and services provided by 1LifeTrip. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Introduction
1LifeTrip organises day trips, overnight tours, domestic travel experiences, and international tours. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and customers unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Bookings & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A booking will only be considered confirmed once full or required payment has been received and acknowledged by 1LifeTrip.
- Booking confirmations, itineraries, travel information, and updates will be communicated through official channels such as email or WhatsApp.
3. Eligibility to Book
- The lead passenger making the booking must be at least 18 years of age.
- Where a booking is made on behalf of additional travellers, the lead passenger accepts responsibility for ensuring that all travellers have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
4. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
- Prices may be amended due to increases in fuel costs, operational expenses, taxes, exchange rates, or government charges.
- Any applicable balance or price adjustment must be paid prior to departure.
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Inclusions & Exclusions
- Only the services specifically stated within the itinerary or booking confirmation are included within the tour package.
- Any services not expressly listed, including but not limited to meals, attraction entry fees, personal expenses, optional activities, gratuities, or travel insurance, shall be considered excluded.
- 1LifeTrip accepts no responsibility for assumptions made by customers regarding included services.
6. Customer Responsibilities
All guests are responsible for:
- Carrying valid identification and any required travel documentation.
- Arriving at designated meeting and departure points on time.
- Following instructions provided by tour leaders, drivers, accommodation providers, or local authorities.
- Ensuring the safety and security of their personal belongings at all times.
1LifeTrip accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during any trip or tour.
7. Behaviour & Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout the duration of the trip.
1LifeTrip reserves the right to refuse travel or remove any guest from a tour, coach, accommodation, or activity where their behaviour is deemed:
- Disruptive or abusive
- Unsafe to themselves or others
- In breach of safety instructions
- Harassing towards staff or fellow travellers
- In possession of prohibited substances
- In violation of these Terms & Conditions
Where removal occurs due to misconduct, no refund or compensation shall be provided.
8. Pick-Up, Departure & Punctuality
- Guests must arrive at their designated pick-up location at the stated time.
- Coaches and transport providers will depart according to schedule and cannot be delayed for late arrivals.
- Guests who fail to arrive on time and miss departure will not be entitled to refunds, transfers, or alternative arrangements.
- 1LifeTrip shall not be held responsible for delays caused by traffic conditions, road closures, weather, mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. Itinerary Changes
1LifeTrip reserves the right to amend itineraries, schedules, destinations, accommodations, or included services where necessary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Traffic or travel disruptions
- Operational requirements
- Safety concerns
- Government guidance or restrictions
- Circumstances beyond reasonable control
Such amendments shall not automatically entitle customers to compensation or refunds.
10. Trip Cancellation by 1LifeTrip
1LifeTrip reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trip where necessary due to:
- Insufficient participant numbers
- Safety concerns
- Adverse weather conditions
- Operational difficulties
- Government restrictions or legal requirements
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Where a trip is cancelled by 1LifeTrip, customers will be entitled to a full refund of monies paid.
No additional liability or compensation shall apply beyond the refund amount paid for the booking.
11. Vehicle Breakdown & Travel Disruptions
In the event of a vehicle breakdown or major operational issue that prevents the continuation of the trip, 1LifeTrip will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements.
Where continuation of the trip is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
12. Seat Allocation
- Seating is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise specified.
- 1LifeTrip reserves the right to alter seating arrangements where required for operational, logistical, or safety reasons.
13. Children & Supervision
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Parents or guardians remain fully responsible for the supervision, conduct, and welfare of children travelling with them.
14. Damage to Property
Guests shall be held responsible for any damage caused to vehicles, accommodation, venues, or third-party property during the trip.
1LifeTrip reserves the right to recover the full cost of repairs, cleaning, or replacement from the responsible individual(s).
15. Third-Party Providers
Certain services included within tours may be operated by third-party providers, including transport operators, hotels, restaurants, and attractions.
1LifeTrip shall not be held responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, or failures of any third-party provider.
16. Insurance
- Travel insurance is not included unless specifically stated.
- Guests are strongly advised to arrange suitable travel, medical, and cancellation insurance prior to travel.
- 1LifeTrip accepts no responsibility for losses, damages, medical costs, or cancellation expenses not covered by personal insurance.
17. Personal Injury, Illness & Liability
Participation in travel and tour activities carries inherent risks.
By booking with 1LifeTrip, guests acknowledge and accept these risks.
1LifeTrip shall not be liable for injury, illness, accident, loss, damage, or death resulting from:
- The actions or negligence of guests
- Third-party actions
- Natural events or environmental conditions
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury directly caused by proven negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
18. Medical Conditions & Medication
- Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel.
- Guests must carry all required medication for the duration of the trip.
- 1LifeTrip does not provide medical advice, treatment, or medication during tours.
- 1LifeTrip shall not be liable for complications arising from a guest’s failure to carry necessary medication or disclose relevant medical conditions where appropriate.
19. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements
- Any meals included within a tour are provided by third-party venues or catering providers.
- Guests with allergies or dietary requirements must notify the relevant provider and tour leader prior to consuming food or beverages.
- 1LifeTrip accepts no liability for allergic reactions or food-related issues where information has not been disclosed appropriately.
20. Customer Cancellation Policy
Day Tours
All bookings for day tours are final and non-refundable.
Domestic Overnight Tours
- Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to departure will be eligible for a 75% refund of the total booking amount.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable.
International Overnight Tours
- Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to departure will be eligible for a 75% refund of the total booking amount.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable.
Special Tours (Customised / Limited Availability)
- Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to departure will be eligible for a 75% refund of the total booking amount.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable.
Cancellation periods are calculated based on the scheduled departure date of the tour.
Bookings remain subject to the cancellation policy in force at the time of booking, regardless of any later amendments to these Terms & Conditions.
21. Denied Entry or Restrictions
Where a guest is denied entry to a destination, attraction, venue, accommodation, or country due to missing documentation, legal restrictions, personal conduct, or refusal by authorities or operators, no refund or compensation shall be provided.
22. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method or nominated bank account.
Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 working days following receipt and verification of the required information.
Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.
23. Force Majeure
1LifeTrip shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, disruptions, or failure to perform obligations arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Government restrictions
- Industrial action or strikes
- Civil unrest
- Acts of terrorism
- Any other force majeure event
24. Complaints Procedure
- Any issues or concerns should be raised with the tour leader or representative during the trip wherever possible.
- Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the completion of the tour.
25. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
